Air-plant Care

IMPORTANT CARE INFORMATION
- Air-plants absorb moisture & humidity through their leaves. This is different from most plants which absorb water through the roots & stem.

-WATERING: soak only the leaves (avoid the base) in a water bath for about 20-30 minutes once every week. OR keep a spray bottle next to your plant & mist once a day. -If you live in a dryer climate, you may need to soak/ mist your plants more often.

-Hang your air-plant where they'll receive bright, indirect sunlight or under fluorescent home/office lighting.
-Your air-plant can withstand a few hours of direct sunlight a day but if it is any more than that, they will start to dry out quickly. (Air-plants love moisture & humidity). If this is the case, just mist your air-plant often to prevent stress on your plant!

How to Polish Brass / Air-plant Hanger?

My air-plant hangers are made of solid brass pendants. Each hanger is polished before sold here are some tips to polishing it when it's needed.

-Use a brass polish cloth or solution (can buy from any craft store. amazon, etc.)

-Using a soft cloth or polishing cloth, rub the metal with polish in circles until the black tarnish is completely removed and the brass is shiny like gold. (Sometimes it looks like it gets worse before it gets better. Just keep rubbing!)

-Once done, wipe again with another clean dry cloth to remove any excess polish & you're done! Repeat whenever necessary!
